In a culture of consumption, 9.9 out of 10 places you pass on your morning drive are solely there to serve or sell something to you.

Grow up in that for a decade or two and you start to think that serving yourself is the¬†purpose of life, and, unfortunately, you believe¬†the lie that it’s also the key to happiness.

When life bends your path toward the hopefully inevitable realization that life is really about contribution, I wish you well on your mission to identify the opportunities to give; I know it’s difficult, I’ve only just started myself.

Beyond that step, though, I implore you to do your part to shift the culture just a little away from consumption, and just a little more toward contribution.

God knows we need your input.
