Don’t Get It Right. Just Get It Written.

James Thurber said that. Or wrote it. I’m not sure, I read it in a book, I think.

Anywho, I like the way he thinks/speaks/writes.

I’ve been through many different states a writer (or any creative) goes through—thinking I need to publish as much as possible to get my name out there, realizing how terrible my work is and wanting to erase my name from existence, working steadily on something like a daily blog or a feature film only to lose steam and fall off, and finally, here I am: exhausted from all the state changes and overanalysis.

I’m just going to write.

Even if I don’t get it right.
