Sometimes we get bogged down by structure, chains of command, procedures, and other forms of rules.
Sometimes we think things might be better without them, but it only takes a few rounds of chaos to realize why rules exist.
Unless there’s something that binds us together, some code by which we all can operate, some shared set of values…everything falls apart.
Chaos is not fun. It’s exciting at first, shiny from a distance, but ultimately it’s no fun.
Fun requires rules. Figure them out and work within them.
